LIKE’s two shaft shredders are specially designed for used tyres, low speed, high torque operation minimize the noise and power consumption with high throughout rate. The shredder blades are made from best quality steel and heat treated by Bodycote for optimal shredding performance. All the shredder blades thickness ranges from 25mm-152mm depending on type of tyres, output ,final product, the shredder can process OTR tyres, big truck tyres, passenger car tyres at a rate of 1t-30t in one hour.
The second machine in a scrap tire processing line is a LK Grater/Rasper or secondary shredder. This station is the workhorse of the tire recycling process. These powerful units cut rough shreds down to 1” inch minus chips without steels inside. The rubber chips can reach 99% pure without steels.
The Granulators are designed to grind the rubber mulch from the Grater into small granules as fine as 1mm. The granules are screened and re-circulated until the desired size is reached. Due to the design of the Granulator and precise alignment of the blades, the Granulator produces a very uniform cut and high quality granule.
